About Us

History

Sports Centre Physiotherapy was created in 1990 by Janet Rogers to look after the rehabilitation needs of active Islanders. Under Janet’s leadership, dedication, and expertise the clinic became the primary destination for injured, active Islanders. Colin Moore began to work for Janet in 1996. While working for Janet he learned about being a great physiotherapist, treating athletes, and gained experience in sports. In 2003 Janet retired and Colin took over ownership of Sports Centre Physiotherapy. The clinic has grown to be a leader in sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy in Prince Edward Island. In March of 2009 Sports Centre Physiotherapy moved to its new location at 153 Belvedere Ave. The move was prompted to better serve our clientele. We now have over twice the space, more than 20 free parking spots, easy access, private treatment rooms, and new and modern equipment. Along with improving our facilities we have expanded our staff to include 2 full time and 1 part time massage therapists, 4 physiotherapists, and 2 kiniesologists in order to provide individual care and attention to each client. We continue to educate ourselves through courses, reading and monitor the services we provide to ensure that our client’s needs are being met.

If you are active and need therapy call Sports Centre Physiotherapy at (902) 370-WELL(9355). Located at 153 Belvedere Ave, the corner of Belvedere Ave and Mount Edward Rd .
